Making ghee is actually really easy to make! It’s basically just simmering butter over medium-low heat for around 10 to 15 minutes! Then just simply skim the top of the butter mixture to get rid of the daily excess that forms at the top of the ghee.

  • 250 grams butter


  • Cut the butter into chunks
    chunk butter
  • Add the butter into the pot
  • Turn heat to medium low and simmer for 15 minutes
    ghee bits
  • Skim off the top ocassionally while it simmers.
    unskimmed ghee
  • After 15 minutes you've got your ghee!
