In this recipe we used chocolate from Lidl, it was super cheap! Around 49 pence to buy! It’s a raspberry filled chocolate and tastes delicious so I was wondering if I could use it for hot cocoa! We basically cut the chocolate into pieces and then put it into the pot filled with 1 litre of milk. Using around 200 grams of chocolate.
We keep it at medium until it’s warm/hot enough before it burns or bubbles up then set it to medium low. You don’t want it to bubble but you want it hot enough to be up to your temperature standard.
Though for using chocolate- make sure to use non-chunky chocolate since the pieces might be a problem for some for drinking.
Different types of chocolate you could use and their flavour!
- Raspberry filled chocolate- depending on the strength of the raspberry- it’s quite a light tone of flavour. You can taste the raspberry notes but it more compliments the chocolate.
