Whipped cream aids a lot of recipes whether savoury or sweet! It can also be whipped even further to become butter as well! You can add around 100g of icing sugar to this cream to turn it into frosting as well!
Why not try adding this to some hot chocolate as well? It tastes delicious as a topping!
You can use really any type of double cream- we decided we would use extra thick since it contains more fat which fastens the process. Make sure to stop whipping when it’s whipped enough as it will start to turn to butter!
Whipped Cream Recipe
- any double cream we used around 400ml for this.
- Pour the double cream into a mixing bowl.
- Either choose to use an electric mixer or a hand mixer. An electric mixer will cut down the time to around a minute or two. Keep whisking the cream until it gets thick and to the consistency of whipped cream but not too thick or it will turn into butter.
