This allspice peach pie tastes delicious especially when served with ice cream! Best served when cold during summer and absolutely warming piping hot in winter! It’s absolutely cheap to bake and the turmeric pie pastry adds a healthy value to it!
Simply the ingredients are sugar, cornstarch, canned peaches and allspice! Though if you want a much more tropic delight for summer- we have that as a canned pineapple pie! The cornstarch is used to thicken up the pie filling to make it set. You can use any other thickener to do this though you will have to convert the quantities.

Allspice Peach Pie
Ingredients
- 100 grams pie pastry
- 1 can peaches
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 2 pinches salt
- 1 tbsp allspice
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175 C fan on.
- Roll out the pie pastry to fill the pie dish at least 0.5 cm thick.
- Mix all of the filling ingredients together and blend them until its a pureƩ
- Add the filling to the pie dish then place in the oven for around 30-45 minutes.
