Onion Bread

Onion bread is a delicious and a great way to use up any leftover onions! You can also add garlic to give a much stronger flavour as well! If you have any dried herbs they would also give it a great flavour too!

We used red onions since they’re healthier than white onions– you can choose whichever onion you wish to choose. For any condiments or spreads you’d like to use with your bread we have homemade butter which is much more delicious than the store-bought variant.

You can use any other oil other than olive oil; ghee is preferable though.

White parsley and pepper bread

White bread infused with parsley and black pepper! Sounds strange? Well, it’s not of the most common types of bread- but it is in fact delicious! The dried parsley is used as well I had no fresh parsley left- so feel free to swap it out for fresh parsley in this recipe. This bread is a bit like the flatbreads that I posted but instead of the crispiness- you get a soft and fulfilling bread!

You can swap out the black pepper for other peppers- especially dried chillies; just make sure to less depending on its… Well- the potency of the capsaicin. Parsley can also be substituted with other herbs such as coriander (or cilantro as Americans call it).

White Olive Bread

This white olive bread recipe is moist and soft on the inside and tastes delicious! It’s a small level up from a basic white bread but the taste is much better! It’s great as a toast, especially with homemade butter and other condiments! Thus, naturally, it will work with a soup or stew very well and I as such recommend you use this bread with them!

Depending on the salt content of the olives- I would suggest using less salt if the olives are salty once drained. If not salty once drained you can add a pinch to enhance the flavour of the bread.

Basic Besan ki Roti!

It’s hard to go wrong with this basic besan ki roti! Only using these simple three ingredients; water, ghee/oil and besan gram flour with a little bit of salt as well! It goes well with a lot of Indian dishes- I enjoy it on its own though.

basic besan ki roti
Look at that nicely cooked besan ki roti!

If the dough is too wet; add some more flour to the mix- if it’s too dry add some more water. Make sure to have a balance with it being slightly sticky and reapply flour to the board to make it not stick.

Also to spice up the recipe you can also add some herbs into the mix and other ingredients!
